No, only a UI.Office license is required.
UI.Office is also able to process data from other mid-offices. Additional costs apply for this.
Yes.
UI.Office is an intelligent customer communication tool. Whether it’s personalized offers or other travel-related content, everything can be compiled, edited, and made available to customers via various digital channels in no time at all. More information about UI.Office can be found at: https://www.bosys.info/uioffice.
No customer data is exchanged between BOSYS and A3M; the systems are integrated accordingly, but the data remains in the respective system.
To use the new functions, an additional license from BOSYS is required to process the data from other mid-offices for UI.Office. This is regulated accordingly by contract.
The great advantage of UI.Office is its complete integration into the BOSYS mid-office. This allows you to use all your customer data profitably – without any duplication of effort. However, UI.Office also works in conjunction with other mid-offices such as Midoco and myJack. However, additional costs apply for this.
The use of the functions is linked to the use of UI.Office. A prerequisite for using the new functionalities is also a contract with A3M for the use of the Destination Manager.
No, a separate license for UI.Office is required for this. A prerequisite for using the new functionalities is also a contract with A3M for the use of the Destination Manager.
Yes. A prerequisite for using the new functionalities is also a contract with A3M for the use of the Destination Manager.
Country Information
The main sources are foreign ministries such as the German Federal Foreign Office, the British FCDO, the Canadian GAC, and the US Diplomatic Security Service OSAC. These are supplemented by a variety of category-specific sources.
Current major events that result in a significant risk or extensive restrictions are mapped in the database. Current events from the Global Monitoring System are also listed on each country page.
There are category-specific rules for classifying the individual categories. The extent of travel restrictions or the risk to travelers is assessed using a five-level scale. A classification with Level 1 does not mean that restrictions or dangers can be completely ruled out. Level 1 therefore stands for the lowest probability that travelers will be affected by the possible restrictions or risks described in the category. From Level 3, travelers must observe an important note – because all travelers nationwide are potentially exposed to a risk and/or there are high risks in individual parts of the country or for individual types of travel (e.g. in unhygienic conditions).
Updates to travel advice from foreign ministries are incorporated daily. Less dynamic categories, where the situation changes over a longer period of time, are checked and updated at regular intervals.
In Global Monitoring, daily events and announcements that will become relevant within the next few days or weeks are recorded. In contrast, the Country Information shows long-term developments and the general situation on site, while current developments are only included if they have particularly high impact. The Destination Manager provides detailed information on entry, visa and health regulations.
All information from the Federal Foreign Office and the British Foreign Office are included in the Country Information. This is supplemented by the content of category-specific sources and current major events.
The Country Information includes annually recurring dates that may affect transport and security. In addition, there are other date information, such as elections or annually changing dates (e.g. Ramadan).
There is information on around 50 categories from the topics of entry and exit, transport and infrastructure, health, natural hazards and the environment, security, economic security and special risks.
All security-relevant behavioral instructions from authorities are included in the database. In addition, there are situation-specific behavioral instructions from A3M.
Destination Manager
The content is continuously updated by our team, and several times a day if necessary.
We use official government information from the individual countries (e.g. German Federal Foreign Office, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, US Embassy, Canada Foreign Office, Ireland Foreign Office) as well as other reliable media sources. We permanently evaluate more than 500 mandatory sources for our information provision.
A3M cannot guarantee the reliability and timeliness of the evaluated sources at all times. However, A3M will check these regularly – immediately in the event of circumstances that give rise to doubts about reliability. For this purpose, A3M will check this information from several sources if there is a reason to ensure the completeness and timeliness of individual information. We strongly recommend that you observe the current information and orders of the responsible authorities and institutions, both for destinations within Germany and abroad (especially if you are traveling from a country outside Germany to another country outside Germany), and that you contact the responsible embassies and foreign missions of the respective transit and destination countries to find out about travel options and other measures.
The corresponding shipping companies and routes can be selected via the “Cruises” travel purpose. There you will find the “real” cruise regulations.
Our goal is to keep the content as up-to-date and comprehensive as possible. Nevertheless, in individual cases it can happen that something slips through our fingers due to the large number of regulations and countries or that we have not yet incorporated it. You can report these cases to us via a feedback function, which we will immediately update in the database.
For this you need the “Orga ID”, which you can find in the “Settings” area.
We have developed the “My Trip” page for travelers. This is a page individualized for the respective trip, which is made available to the traveler via a link. This link can be generated manually from the system or via an API.
You can maintain the information about your company displayed on the “My Trip” page yourself. The same applies to your respective logo. We would be happy to make you an offer for the individual styling of the “My Trip” page in your look & feel.
If the notification service has been subscribed to, the traveler will receive push emails from 30 days before departure, which point out important changes and explicitly name the changed category. The traveler can unsubscribe from the notification at any time and will then only see the changes on the “My Trip” page until they have confirmed them via the “Acknowledged” button.
All information from the Destination Manager can be made available via API, as raw data, “My Trip” page, PDF or text form. Which method is best suited will depend on your individual use cases.
Global Monitoring
The Global Monitoring events are fed from a variety of sources. Our Travel Security Analysts observe and evaluate hundreds of sources daily. Among other things, special software is used to search a database of almost 300,000 sources for relevant reports. In addition, news agencies (including dpa and AFP), various apps, RSS feeds, newsletters, social media (especially Twitter), research runs adapted to the time zones, hundreds of country-specific news pages and websites of foreign ministries and other authorities are used.
The Global Monitoring system includes all events that are relevant for tourist and business travel. This includes all travel-restricting, travel-preventing and security-relevant developments. In addition, warnings from authorities and relevant reports with high media coverage are included.
The evaluation is based on a five-level scale. Since the different event categories are not comparable, the classifications are based on rules that have been individually defined for each category. Important factors are the number of potentially affected travelers, the extent of the impact, the deviation from the normal state and the duration of the restrictions.
Level 1 is only used for announced events that have not occurred after being included in the Global Monitoring System and have had no impact (e.g. strikes, tsunamis). With a classification of Level 2, travelers should check whether they are affected, as this indicates that a low risk is to be expected, only a few travelers are affected (e.g. when traveling to remote areas) or there is an unclear risk (e.g. weather warnings). From Level 3, special precautions should generally be taken and travel behavior should be adjusted accordingly (e.g. by avoiding areas affected by violent protests).
The affected locations mentioned by the sources are marked on the map with colorings. The red coloring stands for a high risk or for large restrictions, in orange-colored areas there is an increased risk or potential restrictions and all areas in which a low risk or no significant restrictions are to be expected are colored yellow. The three signal colors help to assess the possible effects, but they must always be seen in connection with the event level, as the hazards or restrictions at high levels are significantly higher even in yellow-colored areas than at low event levels.
Events are updated as soon as important details are available, the situation worsens or other locations are affected by the event. In addition, long-lasting events are included in a research process and updated regularly. Events that have an impact over several weeks and months are also mapped in the Country Information
For media monitoring and events, we primarily use large international media, local media in English and local languages, leading German-language media and authorities. State-controlled media and social media are generally only used after further review.
The Global Monitoring system includes all date announcements, demonstration announcements and official warnings (environmental events, terror warnings, etc.). These include, for example, major events that significantly restrict traffic and public life, and elections that impair the security situation due to protests and violent incidents in the run-up to or after the announcement of the election results.
An event is assigned to one of 41 categories from the areas of meteorology, environment, geology, biology, health, politics and security, transport and technology.
In the Global Monitoring warning system, the customer can configure their Travel Alerts based on the categories and classifications so that only the messages that are important for the corresponding recipients are transmitted.
Situation-specific behavioral instructions issued by authorities are reproduced in the Global Monitoring event. In addition, general recommendations for action are attached to each event. In most cases, an outlook is also given and it is shown what consequences are to be expected from an event.
Global Monitoring can display booking data that is supplied to us via interfaces. In addition, employees can send us their Outlook calendar entries, which we process accordingly. Locations can be created manually or uploaded automatically. In addition, the location data of the users of our Global Monitoring App (provided that the corresponding location release is available) can be displayed.
Global Monitoring App
Yes, the Global Monitoring App requires an active internet connection to constantly retrieve the latest events, country and entry information from our database.
To be able to inform you about dangers in your area at all times, GPS and other location services must be activated.
An alert is sent via push message and / or e-mail. A notification via SMS is not possible.
Please restart the app. If you are still having problems, please contact our support via the help in the Global Monitoring app.
Please contact the person responsible in your company.
There are basically two ways to do this: Firstly, you can create future trips in the app yourself and then receive pinpoint notifications for them. On the other hand, there is the option of adding countries to the “Watchlist” and being actively informed whenever something happens there.
Via the SOS button you have access to the local emergency numbers for police, ambulance and fire department. In addition, there is the possibility to store the number of a specific emergency call center here – for example an insurance company or assistance. Please contact your employer regarding this.
The geoposition data of the app is not visible to third parties by default, but only for the delivery of relevant warning messages.
If your organization has activated “Location tracking”, you as a user have full control over whether a responsible person in your organization is shown your exact location, an approximate location or no location at all for security purposes.
The private customer version of the app has been discontinued. If you are still interested in private use, please ask us about the small customer package.
