According to recent media reports, South Korea is extending the exemption from the K-ETA requirement for certain nationalities for another year. The government announced this on Thursday (25 September). Travellers from dozens of countries, including many EU states, Australia, Canada and the USA, can therefore travel to South Korea until 31 December 2026 without having to apply for an electronic entry permit.
